aww how very sweet ur a wonderful son!! buy her flowers or her favourite purfeme or a gift voucher for a day spa or for a massage, pay to have her hair done or get a really nice photo of your or of you and ur mum and put it in a beautilful frame she'll love that.

Spend some time with her. I bet you are so busy right now that she misses the time she had with you when you were little.
Take her to lunch, a movie, the park, a play or something. She will remember that longer than an item.
You could also give her a card with the gift certificate that says she has one day with you all to herself to do whatever she wants.
She will love it--trust me!

As a Mom, I realize my son doesn't have any money to really "buy" me anything, but he makes me a home-made card, and does things for me around the house. I absolutely LOVE that., and I think most Moms would. My suggestion is; make her a nice card, volunteer to do something for her, i.e. laundry, dishes, etc. It really makes the day extra special...

You can never go wrong with candles. Also there are shops that have ceramics. You can paint them on the spot and they provide all paint and firing.
