visit the same salon each time you get your hair cut...it can take a stylist up to 4 times of cutting your hair to really get a feel for how it acts (unless you spend the big bucks and go to a good salon). Instead of working against the waves, try to play them up, use a curl defining cream and diffuser on your blow dryer to bring out the natural texture of your hair. Don't let your hair get TOO Long or it becomes too much work, and the natural waves pull your hair down and take away needed body. Try something medium length, with blended layers and sweeping bangs

go to a salon and ask for layers that would frame your face and when you get home, take a shower and when finished, flip your hair then blow dry then it gives you volume...also try straightening your hair.that worked on me or get pantene products taht will give you volume

don't do LAYERS!!! that's for straight hair!! I think you should get a perm(is it?) what I mean is you should get your curls elaborated..it would add volume to your hair...really... Soft waves frames the face...and put some side-swept bangs..just don't overdo the bangs...
