How about we begin to view this as a ministry? I see too many Christians on here putting people down, ridiculing questions. Please keep in mind that but for the grace of God, you'd be lost too, with no clue as to the answers. I think it's time we become humble enough to love people to Jesus, not ridicule the "hell" out of them.

Also, I became a Christian only about 6 years ago. I remember how damaging it was to be around people who ridiculed me for not being a Christian. then I finally met some people who were close enough to God and educated enough on the Bible to give intelligent repsonses. Only then was I ready to listen.

I agree and have tried since I first started participating in answers to love them into heaven not scared the hell outta them. Unfortunately, so many Christians are so passionate about their dogma that they feel they have to beat it into other people. It is a misguided effort that is based in honest compassion. I pray for those type of Christians as much as I do the lost.

God bless you;

I agree with you,
But the problem is that all those that are posting negative answer are not Christians, yes, maybe they go to a church and sing and do what ever they think is saving them, but they go behind the seine to cover themselves to point of others.

Ever since I have enter here I have minister to others with love. I had received offensive responds from many of them, but I won't respond them back with a sword because that is not what the Lord is telling me to do. I just stay quite as my Lord Christ stayed quiet when they where kicking, punching, spitting, and biting him up while walking the La Via Dolorosa. So if they want to receive the word of God, Praise the Lord for they have see, if they don't nothing else I can do but stump my feet and continue my journey.

In my heart I desire the same as you do, but unfortunately we have no control of this, for Satan is also preaching his gospel.
Remember that we are not fighting against flesh. We are fighting against spirit, demons and the devil himself. So we have to have the word of God spoken as God use it when Satan try to tempt him after the 40 days and night in the mountain.

The devil wait for our very moment of weakness to bring us down, so we have to hold on to the Lords garment so we can always speak the word of God without an argument, but to have someone save.

I believe that some questioners that try to mock God, some of them will have an eye opening through this answers, even the one that answers the questions, they might read through and something will cough their eyes. This is why I'm posting answers, but I make sure that my answers are edifying to the souls. And to those that don't want to receive it, they might feel it like a sword that trespassed their intestines.

Have a wonderful day my dear friend, and may the Lord guide you way.
Please, keep the faith.

Thank you-I mean you hear the way people are representing Christ and it's pretty scary. It may not be the best place to minister, because it can make you pretty depressed to find out what a lot of people think about things. But many times I think we are so sheltered because most of our friends and families are believers, that forget how to speak intelligently with non-Christians about Christ. It's so much better to show the love of Christ than to ignore them or consider them trouble makers. It's good practice to learn how to have an answer for those who ask about the reason for your faith. Even if they ask hard questions or hurtful questions, it's good that they are still interested. We have to make a difference! Jesus spent more time with the unbelievers than He did with the religious devote of His day. It's not your words, it's how you live your life. That's why it's a lot easier to talk about God on yahoo than it is to show people Christ on a daily basis. May God bless you! Thank you for your ministry!

I agree with u who knows we may be the only Jesus some sees and if we show the love of Christ instead of being condensing things may change. There are a lot of questions I don't answer u can tell who wants to debate and I don't debate it's a waste of time for me.
God bless u

And when they say only those who believe in Jesus will be saved, how is that -not- "putting people down"?

You cannot ignore Rev 21:8, where "unbelievers" are cast into Hell. My father was an agnostic, an "unbeliever". Can you candy-coat that simple truth and convince me that I should worship the 'god' who condemns my father to eternal damnation? My father loved me, and I him. What could you possibly say to convince me to abandon him?

Christianity is inherently a religion of 'winners and losers'. By definition it is not nor ever will be an all-inclusive faith where everyone will feel they are welcome.

I respect your effort to restore humility to Christianity, but Revelations will always foil the effort to convince us there is no superiority complex about being Christian. Doesn't the fact that you want to minister to those of us who are not Christian demonstrate your belief that you are in a position to lecture the rest of us about how we should be living our lives?

Sorry alex, but i think most of them think that ridiculing some one is being Christian.

I wish It wasen't true too, but it seems to be.

Careful with thoughts like those, you may just be too much of a Christian for many of the so-called Christians to even recognise that that is what you are

Love and blessings friend.

You are right and as it states in the Bible we are to love our neighbors. I know personally whenever someone attacks my religion/beliefs I try and keep an open mind and be kind in stating my beliefs. I am however not perfect. I think if everyone thought like you the world would be a different place.

A true Christian says yea or nay boldly and is not a goody-goody two shoes.

You never heard of tough love.

Many questions have an attitude.

But I guess you can't spiritually discern this.

Sometimes a kick in the butt is necessary.

You shouldn't sugar God's Word to a point that it loses it's saltiness.

I guess you are going to define, WHAT IS CHRISTIAN.

i dont think this can be a ministry... or if you try to make it one, it will certainly fail.

as a former christian, i can say that the best way to get people to be open-minded about Christianity is to be open-minded yourself.

Honestly I am far more put-off by preachy posts than put-downs. at least the put-down people know they are being obnoxious.
