If this is a one time thing I would just clean it up and not mention it anymore. If it continues call her pediatrician. This is probably very embarrassing for her and she, having a ten year old mind, still isn't a professional liar. Hopefully it will always be so easy to know when she is trying to cover something up. But they all grow up and believe me, she won't be wetting the bed when she is 18 and saying the bed did it. Let her have this win.... maybe just throw in when this has passed, that it is important to tell the truth and sometimes our bodies do weird things and give some examples. Let her know that she can always tell you because you are there to help her understand her body and get things cleaned up. Maybe go into how one day she may get her period.... can't have her blaming that one on the bed too! LOL! Just let it pass and find a way to remind her how being truthful to you can help her and how much you love her and she could never disappoint you.
Also, she really may be so shocked that she thinks there is NO WAY she did do that, maybe it was the bed......

That is probably what she was dreaming when it happened. She is frightened and embarrassed so please don't make the situation worse. Leave it alone. Make it easier for her to tell you things without fear of punishment or ridicule. You should drop the subject. If it happens again, she might have a kidney or bladder infection so take her to a doctor.
Please do not punish her. No ten year old would do this on purpose. You should not tell other people, keep it between the two of you.
I was going to stay away from this, but find I must add it. Sudden bed wetting at her age is a sign of sexual abuse. There are things you need to check out. You need to spend time talking with your daughter. Is she becoming withdrawn and shying away from people? Please look into this. Talk to her gently and let her know it is ok to tell you ANYTHING. You could be exposing her to a pervert and not even know that he is a pervert. Please get to the cause of this and help your little girl.

If maybe you over react to other things that happen through out her life... she is probably scared to tell you the truth being fearful you may freak out on her. Just sit her down and talk to her. If you aren't the type to freak over every little thing.. still- sit her down and talk to her 1. about her lying tongue. 2. about her bed wetting. and it could be a simple explanation to why she wets the bed. or then it could be trauma of some sort or a bladder that is growing too fast. could be anything but she should grow out of that. Anyway seems like there is a lot goin down there
good luck

I am surprised she did not try to tell you the cat did it!
HAHA funny , come on.. you have to laugh... limit her liquid after 7... make sure she sticks to this, and have her use the bathroom before bed. maybe wake her up in the night before you go to bed and have her go again.
DONT get mad at her just talk to her about the problem
Tell her you know what really happened and that you are not mad. [That you will be mad if she makes up a story. Peeing the bed is not the problem... the lying is--- BUT --- you know she peed the bed so dont set her up to lie to you about it either]
...maybe consider the good nights underwear... talk to her about that... discuss a plan to solve it.... show her how to pull her sheets, and put then in the washer or basket, teaching her how to own this may be the first step to getting her to overcome it. It will work out she will grow out of this.

It sounds to me like she had an accident and is just plain embarrased about it. I remember having a similar incident when I was 8. Accidents happen. Just let her know that and drop the subject with her. The bigger deal you make out of this the worse she will feel. Plus, don't we all have our own form of "accidents"? We as adults may not wet the bed but we have our mistakes too. Good luck

Considering the fact that beds don't have bladders, I doubt you have a big problem on your hands.
