I hope no one has. The hit you say sounds like a serious punch. Nobody I know would do that to their girlfriend. Come on! You want them to like you, not have bruises from you.

My brother in law beat me up and my family didn't do crap. He was 25 and I was 18. Male vrs. female and he was huge! If I had it to do over again, I would call the police as retaliation. Dont let anyone get away with beating you, or you'll regret it for a long time.

If you or someone you know is being abused, you should go to the authorities immediately! It is a typical, natural reaction for a victim's brother or other family member to want to beat up the offender, but these situations are best handled by the law.

You will be caught by police, Brian. These cowards will definitely press charges.
I had someone put the fear in them by shooting them, not fatally. They did not report it because it was an ex-Secret Service. It is best to invoke a friend that he does not know or be willing to take your lumps.
Or
Set him up so that his attack on you is orchestrated by you to seem like self defense, in actuality you are putting the fear in him to leave your sister alone. Now, in order for this to work, your sister has to be there as your witness and also, you have to school her to show absolutely no fear for this guy - her fear is what is baiting him to keep abusing her. Good Luck!

Make sure your sister is going to leave the jerk first. My husband has fought for his sister I don''t know how many times, he even knocked the guys teeth out (he has false teeth now) and she kept going back, she has had a shotgun stuck up in her, her nose broke numerous times and now she is still with the jerk and treats her family like shi**. She must like it. I don't blame you for wanting to retaliate just don't go to jail because if you are in there then it's hard telling what he might do to her. Good Luck.

My family tried but, at last, understood that the best retaliation was to get me out of there and never look back.
Men who hit will keep hitting until you're dead.
get out now!
if you need to talk you can e-mail me.
Good luck.

Our family has not experienced such a problem. However, I've warned both of my brothers in law that their would be hell to pay should they ever lay a hand on either of my sisters. I don't believe they ever would, but at least they know I would kill them with my bare hands.
