It depends what you enjoy...

If you like mild food then any of these below:
lemon chicken is good, orange chicken is good too.
soy sauce and honey with chicken
blackbeen and green pepper sauce with chicken
chow mein
sweet and sour
peking sauce (plum)

If you like spicy food then:
shredded beef in hot and sour sauce is GORGEOUS!

I personally don't have a favourite because they are ALL so nice!

Oh and Roger Z, I work at a Chinese, Satay IS Chinese food!

Satay is not Chinese food.
I personally prefer Beef with Broccoli.
Somebody just love Chicken with Mushrooms.
Good luck.

Wondering why you got satay from a Chinese takeaway. Satay's not Chinese.

While you're trying Indonesian/Malay food from a Chinese takeaway, try Indonesian style spicy Chow Mein with beef. Lovely stuff.

Hmm, yum. I always say I'll have something different then when I get there order the same as usual: Chicken Fried Rice and a portion of curry sauce, then mix it all together. Lush!

My personal favourites:

Sweet and sour pork (or chicken)

Chicken Chow Mein (noodles)

Ribs in plum sauce

Crispy duck in chinese pancakes with hoisin sauce and shallots

^^^All really good! =oD^^^

Although... satay is no chinese it's indonesian/malaysian... so you might want to try mei goreng or nasi goreng... they are fried noodles/rice dishes with vegetables, spices, meat and eggs all through them... really good!
