A good diet will not cost you anything, in fact, it will save you money - on food. The only good "diet" is a change in lifestyle. Diets make you fat - in the long run, because they are not accompanied with a change in lifestyle.
The first thing you have to know about maintaining your desired weight throughout your lifetime is how to measure your daily progress. In business they say: "If you aren't measuring, you aren't managing." Managing your weight is the same. You have to measure. Guesswork will result in a higher reading on that scale than you would have ever imagined.
You can measure accurately because your body operates on the principles of science. A calorie is a thermal measure that your body will either use to give you energy, or, if it has too many thermal units (calories) it will store them as fat. Your body is not concerned with where the calories come from, when it comes to storing or using them, only with how many you take in and how many you use. The excess gets stored.
There are pamphlets and books and plans and gimmicks that tell you that if you eat certain kinds of food you will gain or lose weight - carbs, proteins, etc. The only thing you really accomplish is putting money in the author's pockets. Your body does not care about all those books, it only sees what it sees: calories in and calories out. It either uses them or stores them.
Get a good calorie book or hook up to a calorie website and write down how many calories you take in each day. If you are gaining, cut down on the calories. If you are losing too fast, bump them up a little bit. Soon you will discover how many calories you can take in and accomplish your goals. Quite laborious, but free (as your question was about cost). After a while you will be able to keep a running count in your head, and you will know throughout the day and at the end whether you gained or lost fat - no guesswork.
The other trick is to eat only healthy foods. Your body will crave proper nutrition if it does not get them from the food you are eating, resulting in hunger. Supplement with vitamins - this is a long-term health investment as it will make your whole lifestyle better and give you better health when you are older.
"Diets" cost a lot, both in dollars and health problems. Instead, count calories, eat healthy, exercise to burn up a few extra calories, and you have a cost free lifestyle change that will result in a trimmer waistline and a healthier body.

Loosing weight, getting in shape are all much easier to do when you are mentally ready to start these activities. It's a good idea to sit down and see where you and your life are headed before embarking on a weight loss program that may be doomed to fail. If we are under a great deal of pressure from work, home, financial those all tend to spin us out of control and make a diet, fitness program difficult to succeed. My advice, get your life together then tackle the weight loss, you'll be amazed how well you will do.

You dont have to pay for a diet. These simple rules will help you lose weight:
1. Exercise 30-45 mins. a day (moderate to vigorous)
2. Eat 6 smaller meals throughout the day
3. Avoid white bread, white rice, soda and most processed foods
4. drink several glasses of water a day
5. ALWAYS eat breakfast. Your metabolism wont get a jumpstart without it.
6. Make dinner your lightest meal.

Good grief! A good diet does not cost a lot. Have you ever browsed your grocer's produce section? Here's a free tip: http://www.chetday.com
Won't cost you a thing to learn that good dieting doesn't cost a lot, just a little research.
'nuff said?

are you nuts?
You don't need one specific plan to lose weight, and no one else but you made you fat, so why in the world would anyone sponsor you?
