Do the airlines still run criminal checks or do they only run your name aganist a terrorist database.

I personally wouldn't chance it. Would you want to take the chance of ending up back in jail/prison? However, I do have a cousin that has left the country when he wasn't supposed to leave the county. I guess it depends on the airport and the risk your willing to take.

Airlines , now give lists of passengers to Inland Security.
They are looking for possible terrorists, so you name will go through the computer.

You might want to check with your P.O. to see if you are even allowed to leave! It is customs you have to worry about not the airport in general.
