it depends what you are looking for. The car, for all intent and purpose is a Mazda 6...built on the same platform. If you want AWD, that option will be available for the 2007 model. If you want a V6, there are probably better choices.

It seems ok from the service end I work at a Lincoln Mercury dealer. Just seems kinda bland though and not very cutting edge as far as technology. The Mazda version seems to give you a little better ergonomics than the Ford version. Have you thought about VW jetta?

Assuming that you're talking about the US model, it's a pretty good car. Bought mine in early April and already have over 7,000 miles on it. No problems at all. Got the SEL V6 and average 27 MPG on the highway and 20 in town. Handles great and excellent power from the 3.0 liter V-6 and 6-speed auto box.

Would buy it again.

It's okay, but personally I would rather have the Mazda 6 on which it is based.
