Yep, birds, frogs, and turtles transport fertilized eggs. Mostly birds. Takes time though. Maybe scoop some moss from another pond in the mid or late spring and hope that it contains eggs.

Depends on the type of fish, some fish destroy the plant life and upset the eco system of the pond.

Eggs can flow downstream with the current. It the stream leading to your pond is (or was) big enough, fish may swim into it.

A bird could carry eggs either by clinging on or through feces.
