I first met my husband at a writer's club. Later I read that going to functions about things you enjoy is a good way to meet friends and people you may want to date. e.g. photography clubs, model trains, nature clubs etc. Worked for me!

After the meeting the group went out for coffee--this time I decided to go along. We all talked--mostly about writing and what inspired us. I asked him a few questions about himself and what he liked to write about.

I thought he might be "the one." I had a dream several years earlier about meeting a very kind person whom it seemed I had know all my life. When I met him, I started remembering the dream. It seemed that he might be the person in the dream.

I'm 14 years younger than my hubby, we met working on a job together, I thought, mmmmmmmmmmmmm he's hot, I want that.
( what I want I always get).
He had a daughter 7 years younger than me, and her and I became friends. Her daddy and I started dating and lasted (dating) for over ten years. In 2002 we decided to tie the knot. And things are still real good. (Though I can not give him any children), and now my best friend/ step daughter, has given us the greatest joys, a baby girl to help raise. Sounds funny I know, me being a grandmother, though I'm not really a mother.

I met Roger on a Friday night when I was out with my girlfriends. We were walking past the Cabaret Lounge At Paragon Casino, and he was there with his friends. He saw me and started hollaring at me, asking me to go inside with him and dance, and I ran away from him..lol. Well as me and my girls were passing back by, he grabbed me by my hand, through the crowd, and pulled me into the Cabaret Lounge and we danced. Well after we danced, he talked for the longest by the bar, then me and a friend went outside with him by his truck, and he and talked for hours again. My friend (she didn't want me to be alone with a strange guy, especially one 17 years older than me-he looks 28 though, I swear) ended up in his truck, claiming to be sleeping, and ended up digging in his truck..lol.

Well months and months later, he and I have just moved in together, and since the day we met, we haven't went one day without talking, have NEVER had a fight, and willl not go 2 days without seeing one another.

My family and friends all adore him, and love him for the joy he has brought me.
