Just another thing that makes us different that we have no control over and yet still try to label, categorize and judge as a "society". Its all good to me, especially seeing some people embrace a culture about it or generate positives from it. But nothing negative. Oh, and I think its cool that we have so many, makes life interesting.

Ethnicity is where you come from, what country you originate from. To me being ethnic is wonderful, there are so many cultures that we can learn from. However being of a different ethnicity should not be a dividing line between people or races. I know it sounds cliche' but it is true, there is but one race, THE HUMAN RACE. We all are born, we all will die, there is not one of us rich, poor, old or young that can escape our fate. What we do with our lives is up to us. I believe that people use ethnicity to hide behind. You shouldn't say well I have no chance because I am Jewish or Muslim or black, or white, or female, we are all given the same chances we just have to learn to take them when they are given. They may not present themselves in the same way, but we all have a chance to educate ourselves and learn and grow as individuals. We only stay poor or ignorant or even rich and ignorant because we choose to. I grew up on a farm and didn't have a lot of money and you know what right now I still don't, but I took the plunge didn't make excuses and even with student loans outstanding I got my Bachelor's Degree. No matter what that can never be taken away from me. We can no longer hide behind what we are , we must step forward and become what we are meant to be.
