Thank you! I certainly would not let my kids on here. I have two sons ages 12 and 9, and I have seen some completely inappropriate questions posted on here. While I myself don't care, these are things I would not want my children exposed to.

I have noticed, as well, that a lot of these types of questions are posted BY kids. This is not the place for them to receive sex-ed.

Yahoo has long been touted by religious organizations (focus on the family) as a safe haven for children because it was so censored. but even then, all they had to do was search yahoo chat boards to get into this kind of dialog and much worse...

parents/guardians are a childs censor and if they can't be there to censor the internet should be turned off.

YES i think it needs to be censored really bad because its a wonderful place where you can go and ask questions but you always have those few people that have to make or ask something very vulgar or sexual some questions about sexual problems are alright but a lot of people have asked stupid and very nasty questions which i think should not be allowed they should have a special place for the perverts to go and ask among themselves all the questions they want but where everyone did not have to see it i would not let my child go and see some of the questions that are discussed on here

NO. parents should do a better job at watching their own children. parents need to take a bigger part in monitoring their kids. yahoo is not the parent, and they have a product that is being used by adults and children should be monitored by their parents if they choose to use this product. especially since so much crap happens on the Internet. censorship is not the answer. i don't want to be told what to say or do because some one allows their children to visit adult sites.

i think that these are perfectly normal questions, as long as no pornograhic images appear i have no problem with them.

u see alot of kids will hear things at school and they don't want to ask their parents cause of they way they would react, kinda like u.

what parents need to do is be more open about sex, even if it means answering questions like these. i think sex education is better than ingorance.

Most kids find Answers boring, so they will avoid it.

And they could see and hear far worse on TV.

That's not to say it's proper behavior, but I'm not worried about it, as I have instilled in my kids a strong moral sense.

you have the ability to censor yahoo, but evidently not "answers". I agree that it could be censored better.

the internet is too large to completely eliminate all sources that may be available to kids. you are responsible to make sure your children understand what is allowed on the internet.

Why don't you be a parent to your kids and not let them on the internet to begin with? Stop looking to parent the whole world, stop looking for someone else to do your job as a parent for you!

Isn't it mostly kids who ask questions like that?

Raise them right, control what they watch, see, read etc. But don't force your beliefs on the people who get off on it. America's morals are in the toilet. Deal with it.

Questions like those should be reported? And if kids ask what things like that mean then tell them but in a way that doesn't make it sound dirty.
