I agree with MJ. The English Pointers are also larger than Viszlas.

Those are a couple of my favorite breeds, I have a couple of friends that breed them.

English Pointers tend to be pretty high energy, much more so than Vizslas, be prepared to do alot of exercising. They also seem a bit boneheaded as not as sensitive as Vizslas.

I think a well bred English Pointer is beautiful! I LOVE Vizslas personality though!

They are the same dog with different coats. The Pointer may be slightly smaller. I personally think you should get a Rare Fox Red Lab, I just got a puppy one, and man they are the best dog you could ever ask for. I also have Vizsla, and they are amazingly intelligent, loving, and protective. They'll never run away because they love people to much, hence the nickname Velcro dog. This makes them wonderful pets for any one with room to run.

Hey "missy"...what planet are *you* from??? Vizsla are a HUNGARIAN breed. Where do you figure POINTERS were developed?? TWO ENTIRELY DIFFERENT BREEDS,dear.
And labs are even MORE different.
