Well, I'll have a look at the options...
The Frenchman - I would be able to understand him, but he'd probably chicken out when it comes to fighting.
The Spaniard - I wouldn't have a CLUE what he was saying, and he'd probably just ask all the criminals and murderers if tey wants some fish.
A United States Marine - I would be able to understand him, but come on, he knows nothing about fighting with fists, it's all about ships and guns.
So if I had to chose, I'd go with the Frenchman, they're always aggressive. :)

This is one of the most stupid questions I have EVER heard. But I will humour you and answer it (What age are you anyway?):
In order:
A Spaniard because they are great people and friendly and nice and would charm them. If that didn't work ..
A French man so he would give me Garlic to keep them all away with my breath.
Not under ANY circumstances would I take a US Marine because:
A/ He would p*ss everybody off with their loud-mouth and gung-ho attitude
B/ Aim for the criminals with their gun and shoot me in the leg and then shout at me for getting in the way
C/ Run away to find a Mc Donald's leaving me to get killed
D/ Torture the criminals nearly to death on account of them not knowing where the nearest McD's was
D/ End up killing me, himself all the other people EXCEPT for the criminals

I would not want be on the side of criminals. They tend to be the least intelligent ppl.
Murderers on the other hand are usually more intelligent than the "average" person. So I pick murderers.

can i have the frenchman? he'd overwhelm the criminals and murderers with his cultural knowledge and whatnot, and turn them into pansies (i assume you ARE implying a frenchman to be your stereotypical flaming idiot, non?). then i would never have to worry about being attacked again... unless a bee or something got in their mix, and they ran to me for comfort, but i digress.

None of the above. I work in an environment full of these kinds of people. Just me and my fellow co workers with no one to help us but each other and our handy pepper spray.
