I've seen a couple of reviews that said that when this amp was hooked up to a set of components (6.5" Perfects to be exact) that the amp clipped hardcore and eventually blew... Anyone own this amp and have any feedback???

I do have some experience with this amp. The amp clips because it is not efficient with its power. I work at a national retailer and we cannot hook up none of the amps to boards because of this. I have seen many of the 7541 series come back because of clipping...which is strange because the cea rating of the amp should be more than enough to push the kappa perfect series, even components. (The amp was made for them specifically) I love infiniti speakers, but hate their amps. I would suggest trying a diff manufacture for you amp, maybe a kicker 350 x 4, or eclipse (definately the eclipse if sound quality is what you are looking for), but if your looking for power kicker.
