Why do Christians & Muslims have a problem if I worship several Gods.?

I mean it is my decision & my life. Why do they feel the need to criticize my beliefs & think their religion is superior to mine?

Please don't categorize all Christians. I personally believe in God and the teachings of the Bible, but I don't think I'm superior to anyone else. You are free to believe however you want. And I think as long as nobody is being hurt, then it's your choice how you want to worship.
If anything, I wish a lot of these people on here who claim to be Christians would stop being so critical of other people. I don't know how many have posted that gay people are going to hell...
People who don't believe in God the way they think you should are all going to hell...I've even seen a few that claim if you're not white, then you're going to hell! They are the ones that are judging....Which says in the Bible we are not supposed to do!
My husband and I teach our kids to love people, but we actually keep our children away from fanatical Christians that feel the need to preach at everyone else, and criticize others, because we think that is just unhealthy for people to have such a negative outlook on life. Those kind of people just suck!
So, I say to you that you should worship as many Gods as you want. That is your business! I truly wish you happiness!!!

I'm a Christian and I don't honestly care who you worship, it doesn't change the fact that there is only one God. If you do it wrong, that is of no concern to me, that is between you and God ... especially since you know right from wrong now.

Nor do I criticize your beliefs or think mine is superior .... I simply know that mine are correct. Every other religion is not my business, only my own.

Muslim POV. It is your decision and free Choice that is right. Worshiping other gods besides one true God is the biggest injustice that man can do. The reason for that is because you do not recognize your Creator and appreciate the bounties/favors He has given you. Lets say you are a father/mother and you provide everything for the child (food, clothing, shelter. love etc..) and the child says no you provided for me and santa clause did as well. He continues to think that way even when you are in your death bed. How would you react towards that child? And you have another one who constantly thanks you, loves you, and says you only provided all these wonderful things for me. Santa clause is just a fairy tale. Which child would you love? That is also one of the main concepts that Messengers came to teach us, to worship God. Just ponder and think about one simple but deep verse in Quran.

“Or have they chosen gods on earth who can cause the living objects to arise from the dead? If there were in the heavens and the earth other gods besides the God, there would have been DISORDER and CONFUSION in both (heavens and earth). But glory to God, the Lord of the throne of authority. He is high above what they attribute to Him.” Al-Anbyaa 21:22-23.

Lets make it simple and say if there is two gods and a person commits a sin. One God says yes I forgive that person and disputes with other God who does not forgive that person. There would be constant confusion of who is superior and inferior. Also think...If that same individual asks for forgiveness then one god has to ask the other god what his opinon is. This will make God imperfect because he has to ask someone else before making a decision. We are not just talking about forgiveness. The same holds true if someone asks for material gain, paradise, or one wants to kill someone and the other one does not.

We criticize your beliefs to shed some light to your practice. Personally, I would not make fun of your beliefs. It may seem like I am making fun because I would say it bluntly. I would make a remark so that you could understand how wrong it is. For example, I would say why would you worship many gods which does not benefit you. Any god that needs his creation for any type of worship is not truly god because God is perfect. God is free of all wants and needs (unlike his creation)

We think your religion is inferior because worshipping One God is a simple concept that even children can accept and follow, unless taught otherwise. The innate knowledge is that there is a Creator, and try to understand why the Creator created us. I would say it is harder for a child to make up gods for himself, and would automatically resort to worshipping one God.

actually christians and muslims believe in the same god but christians dont no tht - well most of them anyway- in the muslim qu'ran it says that muslims should believe in jesus- and they do believe in him. muslim people like christians generally but there are some bad people that want everyone 2 be a muslim which is wrong and like u said its an own choice...!
