You know I am sorry to hear this because I am going through the same thing with my older brother right now.He is an alcoholic also.Your parents dont give you any money cause u spend it on alcohol do you blame them if they gave it to you that would be like helpig you stay addicted to it.The good thing is you know you are an alcoholic most deny it so admitting it is the first step to recovery.I think you need to get some help to stop the drinking if not it will ruin your life.Try to find some AA meetings where there are other people going through the same thing to be yoiur support group and hold you up.But you have to want to do this in order to drop the habit. As far as needing money instead of relying on your parents grow up and take responsibilitie for your own life and get a job.I hope all works out for you

Your parents are correct, why should they supply you with alcohol? Try and go to some AA meetings pray and ask God to help you realize that you are in denial ,That's the first step admitting that you have a problem ,After you've done that then the choice is up to you!!!! Choose life over alcohol!!!!!

Mommy and Daddy can help fix YOUR problem by giving you the cab fare to a bar and twenty bucks for booze. Then, while your at the bar, change the locks on their doors, put your personal belongings neatly on the front porch and set your young buttocks free.
Now, like a good boy, make sure you give this "answer" to Mommy and Daddy. You sound like a good boy who just needs to be emancipated ... SOON.
DRINK UP!

Well, then just don't drink any more alcohol. It's not good, and definitely not healthy, then why should you?
Maybe that way, your alcoholism will be over.

Sound like your parents are wise. Sober up, get a job and earn your own money for booze if that is what you want to do; no one else should have to finance your bad habits.

1st) start with going to an alcoholics anonymous meeting
2) stop going to your parents
3) get a job
if I gave money to my child and i knew that they spent it on alcohol. i would stop too. your parents did the right thing.
now its up to you, so stand on your feet and go to the meetings.

If you're old enough to drink, then you're too old to be mooching off Mom and Dad. Get into AA.
