first of all...ask yourself a question
are u using the camera for a professional use or for normal use
or
can u handle heavy tech or you are a beginner
if u are a beginner or want a camera for normal use then buy canon but if u want a pro cam then go for nikon
nikon is easy to use for me but i have heard people saying it is not user friendly
well in the end the decision is upto you
all u gotta do is
check
1. whose megapixels are more(the more the better)
2. whose zoom is more
3. which one is smaller and lighter
4. which one has a bigger lcd display
5. which one has more digital feautures
6.which one has more in-built memory
7 which one supports external memory cards..if both support.then which one provides memory card with more space
8. others
i use a canon it is good...but i think i would have been much better with nikon..because with nikon possiblities are more
