Hi first of all why don't you trust him? I'm also out of a relationship of 2years. When is it appropriate to start dating again?? Well only you can tell that for yourself, but be careful cause you still love this guy under your consciousness even if you don't feel so, don't go in a relationship just for the rebound, you will know when the time is right for action again!! for now go and flirt with all man kind!(ha ha) enjoy yourself my darling we only live ones, good luck!

Be honest with him.....tell him you just don't feel it anymore....you still love him, but that love is more of a platonic love now....you're not feeling the romance anymore. It's easier to be honest up front before you move on and leave him wondering what the h*ll happened....
I think that 4 months IS too soon to jump back into a dating relationship....the person you start dating will wonder if he's your "rebound" man......of course, maybe men don't care......I don't know......but you'll be questioning yourself (especially if you have feelings about him....and its more than just dating). Good luck!! Feel free to contact me if you wanna talk!!

When you have no feelings at all for your ex-boyfriend is when you can start dating again.
You need to be honest with your ex-boyfriend and tell him straight that you dont want a relationship with him again and that you have moved on. If you still want to be friends with him though, tell him that you would like that.

You have told him it's over. You are now free to do what ever you want. See other people. But out of respect to his feelings, just don't wave the new guys around him, like be discreet.

As soon as you're ready, start in. You don't need to stop living to let him down easily. If he's a real friend, he'll understand that, and if you're a real friend, you won't make a big deal out of it.

When you are SURE that it is time to move on
then it is time to begin dating again
(just beware of picking up the wrong lover while on rebound)
