I think we're all capable of floating, but you have to be able to relax your body in the water - including letting your head sink back into the water, which some people aren't happy with. It's lovely and relaxing floating in a calm sea ( easier to float in than a pool too, 'cos of the salt).
Though remember to keep your mouth closed and open your eyes every so often to check you're not floating out to sea!!

Of course ... everyone can. A very relaxing way to lay back in the middle of the pool, a lake, or the ocean. Falling asleep might not be the best idea, however -- if you think you're gonna fall asleep, get a friend to join you.

Yes, unfortunately. I need to get back in the gym. I like to pretend it's just because I inhaled a bunch of air.

Everyone can float. The human body is made up of like 80% water. BUT you have to be able to relax to do it. If someone is tense then they'll sink. (that's why most people who can't swim can't float. They're scared so they tense up.)

Yup, I can. Some people are just too thin I guess, so they don't have enough upthrust. Most people can though.
