phone up somebody you haven't spoken to in a long time and tell them how wonderful they are.
the best way to make yourself feel good is to make someone else feel good.
(speaking of which i think i'll just log off and write c another email!)

go for a long walk in the country on sunday - a high hill or mountain is ideal (i'm not joking you will fell on top of the world)!
Then come down and have a great pub meal and a pint or two with some cool music in the background of a lovely summers evening.
Go home and have a shower with some lush toiletries:

settle down to watch a cool film that you really like with another drink and some icecream or whatever you fancy. Make you sure you have an insence stick burning with some candles or a low light. Have the window open and let the breeze onto you.
Have a lovely long sleep.

First thing is you should find out what is making you feel down, and work it out. You want to do this because if you don't then it won't just go away by it self unless it circumstantial or environmental or a temporary stressor. You should find things that you like to do and do those things. Try to do something that you will be successful at and you find purpose and satisfaction in. If this feeling persist then go and see a doctor. Sometime health issues affects us mentally so seeing someone doesn't make you weak it makes you wise. Finally if you are healthy mentally and physically, then call up some friend and go out and have a good time. Feel better.

Work out the cause if you can and then get help to sort it out. A problem shared is now someone else's problem.
Sorry a bit flippant but you need to try to get a balance between feeling up and down. You could also take a look at the news and then realize just how awful life can be. Then try to find the positive in your own life and develop it. Alcohol is never the answer just a symptom.

Looking at photos of Freddie Ljungberg usually does it for me, the less clothes he is wearing the better yummy.
Go for a brisk walk/jog in the park while its still light this will make you happier.
Eat a banana they are full of feel good vitamins.
Have a good nights sleep.
Try taking Kalms or st johns worts (Don't take st johns if u r on the pill)
Talk to your mates/go out or just do something with people who love you.
If it is depression tho you should really go to your doctor tho.
Hope your feeling better soon
Big cwtches from me

Just hang in there. Every one gets depressed every now and then. What I recommend is take time for yourself. Skim through a cool magazine, read self help book about depression at your library, get a pedicure/manicure...ect. Just pamper yourself. You can try an over the counter supplement like "St. Johns wart". If you are overly depressed..you may need to go to your doctor. It's very common. Like I said, every one gets depressed, some worse than other. Take care !

Go out and find something to entertain you. Just sit in the sun for a few minutes and see if it will pick up your spirits. Maybe call an old friend you haven't talked to in awhile and get caught up. But don't let the blahs get you down. They lead to deeper feelings of depression and you don't want that!

Help someone who cannot pay you back in anyway. Its just the thought friend.Life is full of dissatisfaction. The only purpose of life seems to be our education.

Write down all the things you love and then make a poem from them and send it to me. i need cheering up too, I'm so blue today, I could cry a river. Start with, "Cascades of snow fall through my soul as you sound the word goodbye. Your lips speak like iced razor blades as you run from my unending despondency. How will my breath feed my heart now you are gone, leave me your smile ......No, that's how I feel, we need something to make us laugh again.
