I do believe in true, lasting love. I think it has to do with the man and the woman involved and how committed they are to each other and their relationship. I also believe that there are a lot of people who mistakenlust for love. I know that in my case with my husband that I can honestly say that after 16 years of marriage, I love him more and more with every passing day. So to answer your question love is not a thing of the past.

It will NEVER die in the hearts of those who truly love. It is there to stay forever. The hurt that goes with it makes one hide from eyes starring at them while they sob because they want but are not wanted......Hiding behind closed doors and staying in love with all that there is left, something pure and true, is the answer even if it is cold, lonely, and desperate for only the 1 look per week for a lousy 1/2 hour..... and then it's still unwanted and cold when leaving..Hail to thee who is true to thine own self because never has there been a better moment in time than the one who so pitifully was captured by the man in black for all eternity.........

The flame of love, like that of a lighted candle, will forever burn; if only it could be consumated by the GOD who gave it......... <3

I don't think people nowadays, know what real love is. They say I love you at the drop of a hat. I don't think love is any different now than it used to be. People just don't understand what love really is, if they did they wouldn't say it to just anyone.
