It's rare when something can break all racial, linguistic, religious and political barriers. Where It doesn't matter what language you speak, what country you come form or what creed you are. Something this spiritual runs deeper and makes all else seem insignificant. If you look deeper, the message isn't necessarily about Allah or Mohammed, but about the desperation to obtain peace and the need for hope. Isn't this what we all strive for?

Even though I am Pagan, this really opened up my eyes to something more important than dogma. It was really touching; easily one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. It made me wonder if people have forgotten about spirituality.

I completely agree. I haven't listened to the song, but your message is completely true. Like you said, even people who don't believe in an organized religion (christianity, islam, paganism, etc.) can believe in peace and hope, and want it just as badly as people who practice organized religion, and the opposite is true too for both parties. Once you go past all the stereotypes and anger and hatred that surround so many religions and really get to the core of the matter, then you're really able to become spiritual, and trying to be spiritual helps you to do that as well.

Most people are concerned with their petty agendas, rather than with serving God or helping their fellow human being. They have forgotten that they are not autonomous on this planet, but must live with everybody else. they have also forgotten, or do not realize, that there is something beyond this earth and this life---eternity. We were not created for this earth alone, but God created us for himself. This is not selfishness on God's part, for he cannot be selfish. Pride is the cause of the loss of spirituality among human beings---a total self-concern that is self-consuming. Spirituality is not about dogma, but is about fellowship with God---THE god---the Lord God who is Jesus Christ. All other gods are the devil in disguise---and there are as many of these false gods as there are people who believe in a god other than Jesus Christ. Jesus loves you.

Religions are just excercises in Spirituality. Just like push-ups or lifting weights for your body. Another similatity... Overdoing it (religion, or push ups) can be just as unhealthy as doing none at all...

I'm glad you found some good insight, there. Pagans I know are much less fearful... which helps, when it comes to being open. MM.

simple as a little poem. MARY HAD A LITTLE LAMB
Mary Had a little lamb,
His fleece was white as snow,
And everywhere that Mary went,
The lamb was sure to go.
He followed her to school each day.
Twasn't even in the rule.
He made the children laugh and play.
To have the lamb at school.
And then the rules chanded one day.
Illegal it became.
To bring the Lamb of God to school.
Or even speak his name
Everyday got worse and worse,
And days turned into years.
Instead of hearing children laugh.
We hear gun shots and tears.
What must we do to stop[ the crime,
Thats in our schools today?
Let's let the Lamb come back to school,
And teach our KIDS to pary.

I experience spirituality when my spirit bears witness with God's Spirit. A very unique experience indeed.
