I'm so glad to hear you say that because it sounds like you're getting fed up of being in the loop .. it's such an awful endless drag and you're the only one who can get yourself off of it and into something new. It's really as simple as letting go .. obviously you're not getting anywhere with obsessing over the past, so you might as well carry on.

If you feel you can't let go on your own, then see a therapist and process some of that stuff .. explore WHY it's so important for you to hold on and regurgitate the same old stuff .. sometimes what's holding us back ISN'T the past memories, but we use them as an excuse to stay in safe and familiar territory.

Break out of the rut and try something new .. just little things will make a difference. Get some info on depression, and see some of the recommendations given for nurturing oneself, or boosting one's mood, or self soothing activities .. these should help.

I feel that I'm stuck in that endless loop all the time. The only time I forget is when I'm working but still they slip through even there. I would love to get out, but I think that I will be stuck for quite sum time.

Sometimes, but you have to break out from all the things that remind you of those memories, such as movies, TV shows, even video games, and music, or change the thoughts you have when you experience them.

Sometimes but it subsides immediately.
Remember the Bad Memories but don't Keep the Pain.

Yeah! I have days like that. I think of mistakes I've made. Comments I shouldn't have made. People I should've never known. It really gets me down. Then I think about how bad off I could be and I...still don't feel any better! But I try.

i hav a solution to this prob. even i suffer from devastating memories . the best remedy is ...1.write down ur bad memories in a diary. even if u are crying along with writing...continue writing. u will feel ur heart is lightened from bad sick memories. 2. try to listen to music...istly ur mind will not co-operate n u will feel to switch it off...but let it go n try to sing along.
3. try to do things u like the most. u will feel relaxed i assure u. gudluck.

Yes. Of all the stupid mistakes I made. Getting into cars I shouldn't have....
Going to people's houses that I didn't know..
Trying things I knew would hurt my body...
Pregnancies that never made it full term....
Choices, terrible choices
Yeah... bad memories... they haunt me
