Not really...if u get her smthg it will show that u appreciate her enough to have made the time and effort to get her that gift..but if u dnt know any safe gift ideas, or just have a horrible sense about gifts, or if u know that the girl would want it that way, then go ahead and ask her to accompany you...but most girls would really rather have a gift from their guy i think...just keep the option of replacing or returning it to the shop..

if it aint her birthday or christmas or you haven't done anythiung wrong don't buy her anything. don't try to buy her love you'll look desperate if she likes you she'll like you whether you buy her stuff or not. take her out and have a good time much better than a pressie.

that is so man-like... you can never handle buying presents and that is not nice
you should buy one at a time little things at first, not too many though because she will start not appreciating them anymore
