Look at the state of the world, we caused this mess, no-one else.

Why are we quick to avoid responsibility for our actions, and become even arrogant about it.

The only difference between us and other animals is that our actions are ruining the planet.

Also we can speak, and look at what our communications, or lack of good ones causes.

We all need to face up to these things, rather than think just let everyone 'get on with it'

We simply cannot move forward this way, we go backwards.
Forget trying to find answers in technology, it is merely a blindfold and illusion deluding people from the Real reality of the Universe.

We cause our problems because of our lack of faith in God to run our lives. We prefer to do things our own way. rather than God's way. Jesus says in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth and the life; no one cometh unto the Father, but by me." God wants us back in our first estate---that time when Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden, free of sin and serving God 100%. Because of our sin nature, however, we insist that we have a better way to Paradise. We avoid our responsibilities because of pride, which is the greatest sin of all, a sin that we have learned from the devil. Our behavior is similar to animals because we reduce ourselves to that level through pride. Pride causes the tongue to wag in ways that are embarrassing and destructive. Pride will not let us face the reality of our sin, so we just get on with our sin as if it is the normal thing to do. Pride is always backward movement, back to the lower animal instincts that Adam and Eve first experienced when they were expelled from the Garden. Technology can not save us from our pride. Pride is sin and must be dealt with at the spiritual level. this is why Jesus died for you and me---to atone for the sin of Adam that we have inherited. Only the blood of Jesus can cover sin and do justice to the pride in our lives. Jesus loves you.

I think the governments act independantly of the peoples desires. If i was truly a democracy here in the UK, we would never have sent our trrops over to iraq or afganistan. I'm still not sure whatthey are doing there, can;t remember the flimsy excuse for it.

We are not leading our countries as we should be, the leaders have their own agenda, and I cant help but feel excluded from the rationale behind theseinvasions. I didn;t vote for that!

The general population is getting very tired and wants peace in the world, and that movement is growing. Stay steadfast in yoru belief for a better world and slwoly it wil lhappen

Who knows when people will realize this. Hopefully not after it is too late to fix that which we have caused. But it human nature to look for a scapegoat for why things happen instead of owning up to the fact that it is we who cause these messes.

But one thing you have to ask yourself is. Okay I know all that is wrong with the world.... But what have I done to fix it today?

Remember you might not be able to fix it all but that is no reason not to try to fix the things that are in your control. If everyone did this then all the big problems would disappear as a ton of little solutions is all it would take.

My favorite quote from this question is "Forget trying to find answers in technology, it is merely a blindfold and illusion deluding people from the Real reality of the Universe. "

Yes, mearly a blindfold that will eventually solve cancer, AIDS, and heal paralized people.

People are ignorant for the most part, and they overlook the obvious, and blame things on usually fictional fairy tales.

This is a statement not a question! What are you doing to sort it out other than writing a whinge page on here!
No one said god done any of these bad things(but he didn't do much to stop them) Religion has caused a lot of problems, near enough every war we have ever had!
What do you propose we all do then and what is your question!
OH sorry 2010 or maybe 12 that a good answer!

When they realise that what happens is directly up to them when they take control of their life and throw away the crutch that we hold on to (GOD) isn't it so easy to blame something or someone else for all our woes when in fact it is down to us in the end.
It's us who need to change but we are so blinded by our own selves and environments we do not see how simple the answers are.
We have to let go of the conditioning of our upbringing society etc Shame that we already do have the answer within but do not know how to access them.

I think that everyone contributes to the evil in this world in a big way or a small way and we all have the great power to turn this around and make things right again.

Unfortunately a lot of people don't see things like this.

i think that good and evil are balanced its just that evil is a stronger catagorie between the two so anything evil that happens and all good is forgotten period

take for instance the news lets say for example england go and win the world cup (likely much!) but there has been a beheading of a british soldier in iraq.......you could guarantee which would be top story dont you think? .......maybe im wrong

I think you have missed the bigger picture. You cannot ruin the planet but you sure can make it worse for yourself.

But the single biggest collective failure of our race is that we have chosen to keep mum when we should have spoken up.. the world would surely be a better place than it is now..

It is high time we all decided once and for all. Stop all the talk of technology and devlopment. Let us create an economy based on hard manual labour and wealth accumulated by fair and honest means.
