I've suffered from depression my entire life. It's a constant battle. I now take Zoloft and it works great. I don't feel like killing myself every other month now. Because I do take medication, I hear a lot on the controversial topic.

If your leg was broken, you would go to the doctor and have it casted until it healed. Right? So if you do indeed need the medication to stabilize your depression, then don't go without it. Without medication, my life was miserable and so was I. (As well as everyone around me too!)

What is your question? Are you asking about the meds? I think you should take them. We are fortunate to have found medical treatments for depression. It is extremely hard, if not impossible and risky, to overcome depression and anxiety without them.
