i went to india ...and its pathetic on ground...its just riddled with poverty and over population...except for some rhetoric on tis growth ...it is still like africa....who the f*** compares it with china

If u went to India and brought back that image..then u went and came back with ur eyes and mind closed...ask Philip Kotler or Madonna, ask Rice Condolenza, Bill Gates about India's status and potential...ask all the donor agencies and other multilateral agencies working in India and many other countries and they will tell you how India is the most superalative in it's resources, it's intellectual base and rate of growth..and how it is a very different place to work in and why...China scores over India today only cos of better infrastructure but wait 10 years and India will be no less...ive seen poverty and beggars in US too....
Maybe u chose to visit very poor areas or associated with poor people here but India is a very affluent country...did'nt u know Indian women are the richest in the world..and if u still think it's a pathetic place, i'd say i'm sorry for ur ignorant mind and being ..

Because the Indian government is sitting on billions in foreign exchange and gold bullion. The media doesn't care about the Indian hungry masses but about the advertising revenue that cash rich Indian companies and companies wanting to sell to India have. On the political front, India is being talked up in the hopes that it will confront China. Any student of history will tell you that India and China are too smart to be suckered in to a cold war facing off against each other. These are too ancient civilisations who have been neighbours long before Columbus' great grand father was born. They are not likely to play a western inspired power game when co-operation has worked.

I think china has better living standard! Instead of india builidng a nuclear weapon they should use that money to help thier people!
