bzzzzzzz sorry not an option. Jesus (God in the flesh) Was the only one capable of offering anything valuable as atonement for sin. And has already provided the way for my loved ones and yours. Now If I lay down my salvation for the one I love it is of no use and if it were of use wouldnt it still depend on the loved one accepting the atonement? and if said loved one rejected the offer already on the table how is my or your offer any better? actualy it isnt as we being sinful creatures have no salvation to offer? We can only accept the salvation offered to us we did not earn it therefore it is not ours to give.

Are you the false prophet or just a common devil worshiper?
James 2:19 says
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

well, as the other person, i would reject such an offer, with great kindness of course as i know they only want what they think is best for me.
i would politely say that to be anywhere within god's presence would be hell for me, and please please let me go to hell.
but then i don't believe in heaven so maybe i should just accept the offer and be grateful that someone loves me that much.
its a tricky issue.

it's like asking oneself to give one's seat in a bus, a train, a plane for someone in dire need... personally, i would. not that i don't want to go to heaven, but still, compassion reigns upon those who are ask for it. i know, you'd berate me as a fool, but who cares. as long as that someone truly deserves it more than you (and you know him personally), without blinking an eye, i'd offer it myself. after all, it only means you too are going to heaven as you pointed out and only the righteous ones goes to heaven, and it's in the level of good deeds (it's brevity, it's depth) that one would be eventually judge...

Yes. Even St. Paul said he would do it. God would never allow such a thing though. God wouldn't want both people.
