global dimming is caused by soot getting into the clouds causing very thick clouds. they reflect off the sun light. it causes disturbance in wind and cyclonic patterns. it could threaten entire south east asia to droughts which depends on cyclones. as developed countries have increased using catalytic converters and making clean smoke from industries, this phenomenon which was reducing the acceleration of global warming is reducing. so global warming is accelerating and scientists understood that their current global models about the earth have under estimated the power of mehane(8 times more powerful than co2) and carbondioxide. and global temperature rise will double in 100 years. so it will increase by 10 degrees celcius. as sea temperature increases, co2 will bubble off, accelerating the problem. 10,000 tonnes of frozen methane in the north, on sea beds will bubble off further accelerating it. what can we do to stop it?

Ans to first post:
scientists after taking the reduction of global dimming into consideration they are absolutely sure that this is going to happen, it is not a prediction, it is a warning for humans.

i have recently seen a documentary. the least we can do to save the earth is to plant trees under special care in teh area of the size of australia to save ourselves from the increasing co2 levels but what can we do about the methane levels. people have to stop eating beef. cow rearing for beef is the main reason for this increased methane levels.

Ans to II post:
how do you think earth will be fine when you and me, everyone knows on the amount of resources we consume each minute. long ago co2 made up a lot of the atmosphere. plants spent millions of years locking up the carbon inside them and when fossilised they kept them away from the atmosphere and human is releasing what has taken millions of years to store in in seconds, doesnt this explain the problems. and this is going on for 500 hundred years. did we have any major problmes before this. in 500 hundred years only of human's 10s of 1000s of years of existance, we have created a problem which we never had before. this can destroy us in a few years . we have to take steps. it is not easy, we have to take steps to save the earth and enjoy our home and habitat, not exploit it. it is in our hands. notice and solve it before it gets too far. we have to raise awareness.
we are the luckiest race to live. in the whole universe we have been given the chance to live. dont lose it

Yes, if:

1. The current model is still accurate in 100 years and no other factor or factor relevance is wrong.

2. We do absolutely nothing about it.

So the methane that naturally occurs in the sea beds along the Atlantic coast is the cause of global warming now? Based on this accurate model, then I guess we are doomed. Time to start building space craft and find life on another planet. And hopefully, there will be no major volcanic eruptions within this time frame either, because scientists have identified major eruptions in earth's history that caused mass extinction of life on earth. With all the doom and gloom we face and all the causes, it seems impossible to thwart all the potential causes of death and destruction on earth. I'm wondering what ever happened to acid rain and the predicted destruction of north America and Europe's forests?

the dimming will cause an other ice age if it is not taken care of
many planets will die out and so will many animals. there is no such thing as clean smoke we all are walking on thin air when it comes to saving our world from turning from a garden into a messed up place to live if it is passable.
