God left this confusion so that human beings can experience varieties in life?!
God created man with element of love but when abused, this perfect love becomes deformed. And people who hate each other but believe in God, well, they are only HUMAN. Human have pride and often, pride prevents us from forgiving people who have hurt us, even if we love them. And if people in conflict can put their pride aside and admit that they are wrong, then really, hate might not exist.
Life is full of mysteries and it's not fair to always just blame God for all the unexplanable miseries in life. Sometimes, man play a part too. If you make a bad decision, there are bound to be repercussions.
Everyone makes mistakes and God allows that so that we can grow and learn from it. But if everytime you do a wrong thing and expect God to immediately detect it and correct it, you will never learn. Things happen for a reason and a purpose but we just don't have the wisdom yet to understand why. God will reveal in due time.
And of course, God is a gentleman. If you don't believe in Him in the first place, it wouldn't be right for Him to just step in and take control of your life. He can only watch from behind and send some help along the way so you don't get hurt too badly. And of course, when help comes, don't reject it.
And if you believe in God, then all the more you should share your problem with Him so that He can help you. If you're SPECIFIC with HIM, He will be SPECIFIC with you. Example, if you are hungry and you tell the waiter to bring you food. He brought you fish and chip, you get angry because you actually wanted chicken.Then you should have ask for chicken in the first place.
Really, I think many people just like to blame God for problems in life, maybe because it's convenient. I do that too. But think about it, maybe if we can submit to God, then life will be less confusing!

all the confusion in Christianity, if that is what you mean, comes from the close of the Middle Ages. It was about 1500 AD. a man named Martin Luther wanted to change the Catholic church with his own ideas. Luther wrote many heretical writings especially lashing out against Jews. He was very Adolf Hitler like in his personality. He posted the ninety five thesis to the church door in Luxembourg, Germany starting the Protestant Reformation. Shorty after Lutheranism thousands of Protestant sects began to spring up. One example is the Baptist sect that appeared shortly after in 1600 AD.

Check out theThe Parable of The Wheat and the Weeds Matt 13:24-30; 36-43 in the Bible. perhaps it will give you some idea why it is so. (please read below)

He set another parable before them, saying,
"The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field,
but while people slept,
his enemy came and sowed darnel also among the wheat, and went away.
But when the blade sprang up and brought forth fruit, then the darnel appeared also.

The servants of the householder came and said to him,
‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field?
Where did this darnel come from?’
"He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’
"The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and gather them up?’
"But he said, ‘No, lest perhaps while you gather up the darnel,
you root up the wheat with them.
Let both grow together until the harvest,
and in the harvest time I will tell the reapers,

"First, gather up the darnel, and bind them in bundles to burn them;
but gather the wheat into my barn."‘"
Explanation
Then Jesus sent the multitudes away, and went into the house.
His disciples came to him, saying, "Explain to us the parable of the darnel of the field."
He answered them,
"He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man,
the field is the world;
and the good seed, these are the children of the kingdom;
and the darnel are the children of the evil one.
The enemy who sowed them is the devil.
The harvest is the end of the age,
and the reapers are angels.
As therefore the darnel is gathered up and burned with fire;
so will it be at the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out his angels,
and they will gather out of his kingdom all things that cause stumbling,
and those who do iniquity, and will cast them into the furnace of fire.
There will be weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
Then the righteous will shine forth like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
He who has ears to hear, let him hear." (web)

James 2:19 says:
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

People who use their intelligence and reason truly understand God. It is in our nature to believe in one God. When the times of crisis comes we turn to God for help. Even if you put a person in a deserted Island with a partner that particular person would understand that he did not come out of chance and out of nothing. He will look what is around him and be amazed at the creations. He will realize that all that he sees, touches, tastes, smells, feels are from his Creator. He either gives thanks or says he has came about by chance. That is natural tendency. Now the confusion comes when you ask which revelation is right. In order to understand God and his attributes/actions He MUST tell us about himself through revelation. Otherwise, we would have making false claims without proofs. There has to be some sort of knowledge sent down from above the heavens. This is when God uses Messengers to propogate the knowledge of God and purpose of existence. It is up to the individual to learn and ask God to guide him/her to the true religion. It is up to God to guide all those who ask for guidance and pursue the truth. People hate each other because they don't share the same beliefs in God. They don't share the same values on how to worship God. All this preservation of correct worship and correct understanding of God needs to be preserved by scholars of religion and religious text. I would follow the religion that has everything preserved in original form.

I asked that good question as well. Why did God create satan. Good question

Satan was obedient to God at one time. He was so obedient that he was elevated in the ranks of Angels. There was a hidden attribute of Satan that lead to his destruction. That attribute is one of arrogance/pride. Due to his arrogance/pride he failed to follow the direct command of God when ordered. He felt is was better than Adam and so he did prostrate out of honour to another creation of God. Not only that he blamed God for his own misguidance, something humans do as well. The reason for his creation was because through his creation a GREATER good came into existence. That greater good is the concept of God forgiving his creation for their sins. Allah can show his creation and mainly humans in our case his attributes of compassion, oft-forgiving, most merciful. God repeatedly forgives our sins and overlooks many that we do not ask forgiveness for. We should thank God for that attribute. Also through the creation of Satan humans are more careful towards their duty to their Creator. They know there is a force holding them back from doing good and forbiding evil and they fight back. This causes a increase in faith and practice and perfection of worship. Some other reasons that relate to Greater good of humans include

1) God made his story a lesson for humans...a warning

2) Make clear Goodness and righteousness. Opposites show the virtues of opposites.

3) A trial/test for humans. Gratitude or ingratitude after Satan wispering to commit sins and then being forgiven afterwards.

because its part of the natural order of things...there has to be good and evil in order for life to be meaningful...the hate each other who believe in god is the institutionalization of what people conceive to be the entity of god..each interpretation leads to notions of exclusivity which makes other interpretations evil in their minds...its really quite tragic...john lennon had the right idea..imagine no religion and we would all be one

Sometimes those ideas conflict.
