Just locate all the cds came with your computer and put each one in your cd rom and try to install all softwares in it.
VERY IMPORTANT: read everything carefully when you install.
You can make your computer work again. Good Luck!

No need to panic, just un-install and reinstall it again.
just in case you've had it with Windows, you might want to use Linux, instead. For one thing, Linux doesn't have the bugs that Windows has and, it's open source! And, it's free of cost!
The first two links will show the download sites for ubuntu, a free download of the iso version of Linux that you can burn directly onto a CD and use.
While you're at it, You might want to replace the MS Office Suite as well. Not only is this costly, but it's again full of bugs and constantly crashing. Needing a lot of Updates that fpile up on your computer.
Free Serif is a wonderful alternative to MS Office and has a lot more to offer! Best part is it's free! Free Download. Free Registration. Free license!
You'll get that from the last link that I've given you below!
All the best.

Find the disk/diskette that came with your graphics card and reinstall the drivers. Do the same thing with the sound card. I don't know how to put back the option of standby/hibernate. It must be under control panel/tools or something.
