after you wash your hair, towel dry it, nicely, then brush and flat iron. it only takes about 10-15 min. thats what i do, and im never late! :D

try only applying conditioner to the lengths and ends of hair and not at the roots as this weighs the hair down. and try doing a weekly hair mask, I have naturally straight hair but I still do this one a week as it is a really good treat for your hair. From experience I think its better to do these in the evening. Use a nice thick conditioner (the ones that come in a pot rather than a bottle seem to be best), apply it to washed and towel dried hair and use plenty, if you then place a shower cap over your head or wrap it up in a warm towel and relax. you can either leave it 15-30 mins and then rinse it out and it will be soft as a babies or after 20 mins take the towel/cap off and let you hair dry naturally with the conditioner still on. Put a towel over your pillow and go to bed with the conditioner still in, it should be nearly dry before you go to bed or it will make a bit of a mess. When you get up the next morning just rinse it out thoroughly. You will have super soft, moisturized and conditioned hair and you have also saved you hair from a morning shampoo which can dry hair out by removing essential oils. As long as you treat you hair to plenty of moisturizing treatments and get regular trims then using your straighteners daily shouldn't be a problem.
