Most of the people believe the existance of GOD. These people are believing that GOD only created them. Even If you are atheist, you know that you are created by your parents. Then your parents are GODs to you. You do better when you are alive. Who knows about the existance of hell or heaven? You are just one of the stages with life in the natural carbon cycle. After some times you will be transformed into some other stage without life in the natural carbon cycle.

Well, if there is no God, then life is not sacred and it's ok to murder, or take your own life and do whatever the hell you wish. After all, since there's no heaven to gain or hell to shun, why bother being 'good' - there's no good or bad outside of a universe where God exists. But until you find absolute evidence that there is NO God (tell CNN if you do), I suggest walking the straight and narrow path of righteousness. Seek and ye shall find.

That's how I believe it is.
But that does _not_ mean life has no meaning. If the weather is nice, why don't you go out into a field, find an anthill and watch it. Give these little buggers the benefit of the doubt regarding 'consciousness' and watch how eagerly they work for the benefit of their whole community - one lugging huge crumbs of bread back to the hole instead of just dining on it itself and forgetting the rest, large groups pulling grains of sand from who-knows-where to make the hill better and stronger... I even once watched an 'undertaker ant' whose job was to take the poor dead ant bodies away from the hill.
These creatures have no concept of God yet they do everything they can to help the lives of their fellow ants. There is nothing wrong, shameful or meaningless about what they do - and there needn't be for us either.
It's only an insult to be compared to ants if you consider yourself superior to ants... Try comparing an anthill to our modern lifestyle before considering questions of superiority!

Then nobody will ever know the difference, will they?
As much as it may disappoint bible thumpers of all persuasions, when they die, that's it. They will not wake up in some glorious surroundings, nor will all those people they hate wake up to some fiery inferno.
When we die, that's the end of the line for conscious awareness or "personality." We are animals just like all the other animals.
It never occurred to me that I should go on a killing spree, rape my neighbor's wife, or engage in other anti-social, sociopathic behavior. Is that what bible thumpers would do if they didn't fear going to hell?

I figure it this way.
If we die believing in God, then we go to death without a heavy soul. And we wouldn't know any better since we're already dead.
Because some people can't cope with the possibility that there's nothing after this life. The 'delusion' helps us live without thinking about the end.

The Holy Bible says in Psalms 14:1, the fools say there is no God. If there is no God and no one to control you or your neighbor, what would become of the society? There is one God. There is heaven and there is hell. These are not myths nor fairy tales to frighten kids. Face the reality, you absent minded professors!!!!

Is this the part where all the Christians slap their foreheads and say, "Hey! It has never occured to me that there could be no God! Wow! This makes me want to be an Atheist now!" because if it is, I'm totally not feeling it.

Yep, pretty much. God is just an illusion to help people sleep better at night.
