Talk to your family about how you feel. If they still don't respect your feelings then it's up to you to decide. My friend's parents didn't approve of the guy she wanted to marry so they went to the local court house and did it anyway. She and her family didn't talk for a while, but they're on better terms now. It just took some time.

Marriage is between man & woman.
Not between u & family.
Once u marry, your wife will be your family.
Family can not tell u who to love or not.
U will be the one living your life with that person.
Not your family.
That is the purpose of marriage.
To move on with life and have your own family.

I guess it's a good thing that you're marrying her and not your family. Your family should recognize that your love her and she makes you happy. If they can't, then they'll have to learn to live with your decision. Just know that if you end up divorced, they'll be saying "we told you so!"
