1 klick is 1,000 Meters, or 1 Kilometer. This is used in conjunction with the Military Grid Reference System on our maps. Each map is sectioned into several grids, 1 set running North to South and 1 set running East to West. Each grid section ( on a 1:50,000 scale map) is 1 klick North to South and 1 klick East to West.

Yes a kilometre, but gotta tell you that a US Army tank commander nearly killed me by miss reading a map on a ultra distance sporting event. Moral check your own map, not every body knows what a klick is!
