then in the SAME BOOK he said that everything in that book is factual... without sources or any sort of backing, and you people believe it? Atheist logic is far superior to your inferior form of "cuz God told me so" logic, we should be in charge of all the major decision making.

Aaron, why does the Universe need to be created? It is beyond our grasp to actually know what the universe is, so is it not possible that the Universe just is?

According to some people (theists) who are not able to think God is God because he said SO... For me God is the shortest fiction that has ever been created by man

You cannot prove or disprove the origin of our existence. It's a fact that existence itself was created. My parents "created" me. Their parents "created" them. But who or what created the universe?
Scientists have already proven that the universe is expanding,.due to an event that took place which had such tremendous force to push it "outwards". -- known as the Big Bang. This makes more sense since we now know that the universe is constantly expanding. Scientists interpret it as the origin of our universe, but I personally view this event as "In the beginning, God created." Scientists say that the universe is only rougly 15 Billion years old. Physical matter is not eternal, it had an origin, just like this planet. Everything in this universe, from stars, to planets, to galaxies, ALL had a beginning. Go to Nasa's website and view their galleries of Nebulas. A nebula is the death of a star, which turns into the reformation of another one. Thus proving that stars are created, and are not perpetually eternal.
