Narey didn't score in the 1986 WC, only Strachan scored for Scotland.

Narey however scored against Brazil in a 4-1 defeat in 1982, Scotland also beat New Zealand 5-2 and drew with USSR 2-2 in that particular WC.

The World Cup highburybooks speaks of was 1982, where Narey shot his first and last international goal with that "superb long range shot."

Since Narey only had one international goal and it was in 1982, the answer to your question is no.
