If your in laws are more bizarre you'll get 10 points. Where do i begin. My husbands dad has been married 4 times and abused all of them verbally and physically. He sodomized his child and got her pregnant and said she was raped by someone else and dragged her off to Mexico for 4 years. His latest wife he met writing her, she's from the Phillipines. She married him and as soon as she was a citizen left him. He sold all his posessions and got in his car and didn't tell anyone where he was going (he met another girl from the Phillipines and was making his way to California to fly to meet her) He is now living in california with one of my hubbys 25 half sibblings. (you can pick your jaw off the floor now it gets even better) His mother has been married 4 times also. was an alcoholic, smoker, married at 16 abused physcially and verbally by all husbands. at least 2 of her daughters were sexually abused by their dad or stepdad. there are at least 4 schizophrenics in the family.

Their aunt has been addicted to pain medication for years, niece to drugs. People always asking others for money because they have wasted all of theirs. Mother in law can't work lived with us one year and my brother in law and wife for 1 year each. both of us couldn't handle it and she has her own place. Niece married boy who is son of a polygamist. I could go on, but need I say more, I don't think anyone could top this. Oh wait, my brother in law is a dumpster diver. Unfortunatily all of this is true and not in the least exaggerated. Let's just say the moral of the story is this----1. Be careful who you marrry 2. The choices you make in your life don't just affect you, they affect your family. And amazingly even though they are the weirdest, craziest family ever I still love them, but I have to watch my back.

Wow, I read the headline and clicked on it, thinking I could get an easy 10 points. You win, and I don't even want to top that. This has actually made me feel ok about my situation. Thank you, and you have my sincere sympathy. I wish you the best.

I don't want to pick my brain and go through all of the old horrible memories. You win! Please keep your kids and yourself totally away from that side of the family. Your husband probably needs to have some therapy because you never know when some of his past abuse will wham him up beside the head. He may not even be aware that he was ignoring it or hiding it from himself because as a kid he forgot it because it was too hard for a small child to deal with. A smell, noise, seeing something, anything can set a memory off and he needs to deal with it now. You don't want your kids scarred by your husband's past abuse.

I don't believe anyone wants to top that and I'm very grateful that I can't ! Wow, I think they all need counseling so this doesn't happen anymore in that family.
