depends on how long you were married. same thing for myself, got out of the marriage, and it just seems like highschool again for some reason.

Hey Spekkers :)

Its not different, everything is the way it is, just that you have lost a bit of faith in relationships. When you approach a guy or when the guy hits at you it all sounds cliched to you, and moreover you feel a little bit guilt in you as you are thinking of saying the same things and promises to someone else now (which had so much meaning and truth when you told them to the guy you first loved ..now those things are losing its meaning somehow.) ..all this is just making you feel uncomfortable, but don't worry "love as if you were never hurt" ..and thats the key ..good luck :-)

Okay, I am your second grade teacher, and THIS is how it goes, okay?? Now pay attention this time, and don't embarrass me again with your illiteracy!!

(Capital) "I am 27, (comma) divorced (spelling), (comma) and am trying to date again. (period) (Capital) Why does (spelling) everything seem so different (spelling) and confusing?"

I won't even address the use of all capitals in your explanation! But you have an embarrassing EIGHT mistakes in your ONE question!! Are you proud to show your illiteracy all over Yahoo Answers??!

I'll TELL YOU HOW things are supposed to go: you're not getting anywhere, because you are illiterate, and no one wants an idiot as their serious mate!! At least no one of substance, anyway!!

You might have a little baggage left over from the divorce, and I am sure you are a bit wiser which means you have a conscience. The more you know the more you are responsible for. Nothing is easier as we get older. I'm 37 and trying to date again. It's just really different.

IF you are 27 and "devorced" then you'd know how to spell the word...it is on all of your court papers and documents...DIVORCE

Because it IS different and confusing. ;)

But it's okay...just take your time...take it slow.

You have a chance to do everything over again with more experience than you had last time...you'll do much better I'm sure! <3
