do u have bipolar and if yes, what meds do u take and do they work for you?

i'm bipolar, i'm currently taking:
Cymbalta, Lamictal, Ativian and Clonazepam PRN
In the past, I've taken:
Prozac, Zoloft, Effexor ER, Depakote,Wellbutrin, Paxil and Lithium
Lithium helped the most, but my insurance will no longer cover
Cymbalta is a newer drug, i have yet to form an opinion about it

I'm not bipolar, but my best friend is. She is currently taking Depakote ER, Abilify, and Effexor XR. The meds have helped her a lot, but she still has her mood swings.

I am bi-polar & I take xanax 2 1/2 mg a day, lametnal 100 mg a day, lexapro 40 mgs a day.I just started the lametnal. I'm hoping it will help with the others. If you are bi-polar please see a counciler They will help you see a psychiatrist to help get you on the right meds.It may take a while to find the right one. But when they do you will feel a lot better.

oh my god girl i could write a book i have been bipolar for over 8 years you name it ive taken it right now i am on tegretol and effexor very nice combo i just started tegretol so my body needs to adjust. it makes you a llittle high at first but it makes you very sleepy and mellows you out. the combo is finally working and after 8 years i think this is it finally! good luck to you and i hope you find something that works as well for you too ..........peace debbie

my sister and bf both are bipolar they dont take any meds but if you are plz take meds it will be better for everyone

yes used to be ritalin but they dont work for me
