Trenchers opposite the station is fab but the new owners have put the prices up to silly money for the area. Most people will have told you the Magpie but you have no chance of getting in without queuing at this time of year. If you like chocolate then try Justin's across the bridge. Try venturing into Scarborough - fantastic choice!

I'm not entirely sure where, but try the Scampi. It really is delicious. It has a much stronger flavour than scampi from the freezer etc. I had it at a pub at the base of the steps to the church on the hilltop. The name escapes me, but the flavour of the scampi won't!

do not know the name, but over the bridge and the first pub on the right with a gallion window. fantastic sea-food platter, but was a couple of years ago. have a fab time, lovely town. belza
