Two different things, The current conflict and Armageddon.
I cant possibly tell what will happen next in the current conflict.
The Bible Says Russia(GOG) and its leader (Ma-GOG) will invade Israel during the end times "with the kings of the east"
Could be anyone . China, Iran any other Arab nation, except Jordan and Saudi Arabia. "Sheba and Dedan will ask the invaders, Do you come for Spoils (plunder)" meaning they will not attack , but not interfere as well.
Hope that helps.

>>>I take it you are a Christian. Why are Christians always itching for the world to get destroyed?<<<

Because they (we) have been told too many stories and take everything too literally. People don't realize it's not God that makes them believe, it's the men that conditioned them.

For all we really know, Armageddon may only be an anology for the internal conflict we must all face when we die. People at peace with themselves and their beliefs will have restful souls that "go to heaven", people not at peace will not rest and will "go to hell". It's the same message every religion teaches.

There will be no real battle of Armageddon. That battle is internal. There could however be another world war, even a nuclear war, but guess what all you other Christians like me? Nukes can't distinguish between those of us that are saved and aren't. Unless the saved people are already strategically divided by towns and blocks, and well away from military targets, they'll be left here with the rest of the surviving non-believers questioning everything they took so literally, and wondering how they could have been so brainwashed as to think God's message was really something more complicated than just "Be Good".

Lucky for me, I feel comfortable believing that Jesus died for my sins, but I don't feel obligated to think that everyone else has to believe the same thing to get into heaven.

As far as Russia and China, they don't have much interest in Lebanon. They're not Christian countries, and Lebanon has no oil. They could care less, unless of course they have the opportunity to make some money selling arms.

Also, North Korea HAS NOT allied itself with Iran and the terrorists. That's a separate issue altogether.

Well, all sane people think and hope that will not be the Battle of Armagedon. First China is acting neutrality, which doesn't mean that as Government would not take a side. Russia always had a very influencial role in International policy and actually from years prefers to concentrate in its own terrorism, fighting with Chechnia guerrilas etc. The president of Russia Vladimir Putin DO NOT ALLOWED UP TO NOW HIS COUNTRY TO TAKE ACTIVE ROLE ( I MEAN MILITARY ,AS A CONTINGENT) in any front. With the escalation of the conflict maybe He will reconsider that and will not only "push" the UN and G8, but will take part (mainly with weapons etc)..

deacon is ignorant, read the aramaic script its not a catholic version of the truth. At least in the hebrew it uses the creators name and not a pagan title for him also the hebrew contains all the stuff christians wish they knew, like the date sept. 12 2006,and oct.13 2007, and all the prophecy which none to this day have been wrong and I can list several but wont here

allright just one,= seven year peace treaty signed with a man named Yitzhak Rabin on sept. 13 1993 and it would last 3 1/2 yrs and then be stopped with the assasination of Rabin.

Not right now!

But Russia will be a major player in the Armageddon war

This is how this will end!

Israel will kick the crap out of Hezbollah and then they will get UN forces to come in and secure Lebonon.

Things will be good for a year or two then Syria will start crap again!

armageddon is still 2 far away 2 discuss here.......The situation 2day will however worsen till there will be a position when God's rage will overcome his mercy on mankind, a time when the wrong will be punished and the right will be given the pleasures of heaven. Times r not that bad 2day, it had been worse b4 but yet 2 come to a level when God decides it has been enough.

Ok... I dont think you get it. Right now we have on one side Isreal, the United States, the UN and the rest of the countries fighting the "war on terror" and on the other side you have Lebanon, the terrorist groups, mostly made up of Hezzbolah and Al Queda, Iran and North Korea...

Is it just me, or does this look like the SAME WAY WWI STARTED??!?!?!?!?!

Armageddon as referred to in the Bible,is God's great and fear inspiring day.It will be a worldwide 'war' as the resurrected King Jesus Christ and his army of invisible spirit forces will do battle with the governments and wicked forces of this current system of things.
