What does this mean about my ex-girlfriend?

I have been trying to get back with my ex-girlfriend and sometimes things are going good and other times they are going bad. She thinks i cheated on her which i never did, but i did lie to her for stupid reasons about it. She found a girls phone number in my cell, a girl whom i studied with for a few minutes before all the exams at college because she had the tests from the past semester and they were just like the ones we were taking now, thats all i did with her. Well my ex told me a little bit ago that now she was at another place and that she wanted to know what really happened so now she would call the girl and find out. Before she did not want to do that she says. What does this mean? Is it good or is it bad? Help!!! She knows the truth about everything but doesnt believe me because i lied before. I really love her...

If you have nothing to hide, let her call and find out for herself. She will feel like a fool....and then who knows what will happen...

If she really loves you...like you love her..then you both could still be back together and happy. However, it is difficult to overcome when a man lies to you. She might always question your every motive. It will take a long time probably to re-earn her trust.

sometimes we make mistakes and learn from them. u lied before and she forgived u but now u did it again so she will doubt u. well i think what she mean by at another place is that she calmed downed and she wants to know the whole story. she wants the truth from her. most likely she was thinking bout u and wondering if she messed up letting u go. she wouldnt admit that but yeah that what i feel she meant. so maybe by calling the girl she will realize shes a fool. i mean it was just a number on ur phone but the fact u lied made her more suspicious. u must always tell the truth. well u should have told her way before. hey is it kool if i go study with this girl and blah blah. so then u wouldnt be here asking for advice. u should tell her that u love her still and do whatever she wishes if that will give u another chance. promise to her u will tell the truth and hope she gives u a chance. just give her the number and let her talk to this chick. if ur telling the truth it will be revealed. just dont lie man. i learned that lying does come back to u.good luck

Well, I hope you learned your lesson. Always tell her the truth even if she's going to get mad. If you didn't do anything just let her call the girl to prove herself wrong. Maybe then she'd get over it. On the other hand, you should never have to hide a friendship with another girl. Is she that insecure? What, are you never suppose to talk to the opposite sex again? It's her insecurity that is causing this. You just put the suspicion out there by lying to her in the first place. I only know this because I did the exact same thing that you did. My boyfriend hated that I had a best guy friend so I told him that I wasn't talking to him anymore. That made it worse b/c I was trying to hide my friendship. The reality is, you can be friends with whom ever you want, just don't keep it to yourself. You'll feel a lot better about your relationship.

This is ridiculous why should you have to prove every move you make? I would get really mad if she couldn't believe the truth. It is very bad when you can't even keep a small secret about some of the private things in your life. Who says she has to know every little thing? If my boyfriend called another guy just because he thought I was talking to him I would tell him to get out of my personal business. Its not clear to me what's the reason of your break-up before. But then, i can say that you really love her coz you end up going back to her to be together again. Have you already show her how much you care for her and how much you needed her after you break-up? and That you realize how much you love her? this is normal to happen in relationships. girls get too jealous, but because you lied before, maybe she finds it hard to trust you now. you could do something really romantic for her, talk about the situation, and avoid lying to her. you should be honest with each other.
