My favourite letter used to be 'W'. I liked how it was so wide, it's name was so long, and how my name has two of them.
Then a nasty Republican came along, stole that letter from me and dirtied it beyond repair.
Now I like 'Q' because of how useless it is in the alphabet. I guess I pity it...

I like W because it sounds so out of place when you sing the Alphabet song. Most other letters can be pronounced with one sound ("A, Bee, Cee, Dee...") but then you get to W, and you need not one, not two, but THREE syllables to say it. You gotta love a letter with the guts to be such an outcast.
