I noticed that horses and bears can walk around and poop with no real effort. Do you think that we humans should do that? Is there a benefit to our intestines to let it fall out at anytime?

Well, we should hold it until we can reach the toilet. But to DELAY a poop is not healthy. It will get all backed up and you will feel yucky. Get that poop outta there!

I smell a turtle head pokin!

I think there is a reason horses weren't given the abilty to design pants and people were... because we were given the ability to hold on long enough to get out of public eye to drop the bomb.

I suppose, if you want to wear diapers and smell bad, you can "let it fall out anytime". I don't think it hurts our intestines to hold a BM til we can get to a toilet, as long as we don't hold it a long time.

Holding you bowel movement for an excessive amount of time can result in stones and can require surgery to have them remove. it can also result in intestinal infection which can be deadly...(to those that are within three blocks of you when you decide to let loose...JUST KIDDING) It can kill you! so don't hold it unnecessarily long.

I don't mind but you might be shunned by society if you poop say for example while walking through the mall. Anal retentive! Not good!

You gotta go when ya gotta go!

You have anal tone and sphincter muscles for a reason.

Just don't over use them.

You should cleanse your bowel every year. Imagine what is stuck to the inside of it after so many years.

Animals usually defecate without difficult not because they are not "holding it", but because of their diet. Their bowels hold it until it is "ready" just like humans do. If it takes you "effort" to defecate you need to check your diet.

If we were able to hold in our poop like that, we would be really fat and big in size.
