If you're one of those people that tends to be 'warm blooded', or you always tend to feel hot. Having a warm body beside you can be uncomfortable. If you're a light sleeper, having someone tossing and turning or breathing heavily next to you can keep you up.

Or its always possible that you're afraid she'll kill you in your sleep and that keeps you up at night.

The bed's not big enough so you don't have room to stretch and relax? I have the same problem when I share the bed with my husband except he hogs the bed AND the covers!

Buy a bigger bed and good luck!

Does she snore.......yes, I have heard some loud women snorers. I know before my husband had nasal surgery, I never ever slept well. I couldn't believe his snoring didn't wake him up! After that.....I sleep very well. Possibly you could use a larger bed to stretch out and really be comfortable....also she could move around alot........ OR you might be the one snoring and she pokes, etc. to get you to stop, which would cause you to constantly come out of deep sleep. Ask her and see if you snore and if so, loudly?

it's scientifically proven now apparently that we do sleep better on our own, but did we need it scientifically proven to admit that we get a better nights sleep without any of that hugging business
