I want to go back to my natural medium blond hair color after bleaching my hair for years. I already found the right color and dyed my hair. The top half of my hair looks really nice, but the longer layers didn't take the color as well and the light blond shines through.
If I dye my hair again with the same color, will the result be better, or what else would you guys sugget except for cutting it?

If you dye your hair with the same color your top will get darker and your bottom will still be a different color. The reason it is not working is that when you were coloring it blonde you were doing it wrong. I'm assuming that when you were lightening your hair you were lightening all of your hair, not just the dark stuff at the top. Now your bottom is over processed and isn't holding the darker color as well. I could suggest that you only re-color the bottom half but this is hard to do without leaving a definite line.

Go seek the advice of a professional. Your hair does need to be cut.. the stuff that isn't holding the color is too damages. However, that doesn't seem to be an option for you, so a stylist would be able to "fill" the damaged part and make the colors match

Wait a week, and do a deep-conditioner the day earlier you recolor. even in the adventure that your hair is in good situation, dyeing it lower back day after on the instant can injury it. once you recolor, pass to the salon somewhat. Going lighter can injury hair, distinctly in case you're going blonde, even although you're already blonde. The lightening products, distinctly in blonde hair dye, are at an more desirable concentration. in case you go with to lighten your hair, despite if it particularly is in elementary terms a coloration or 2, pass to a salon the place you may get it carried out with expert-grade product. Haircolor it fairly is offered on the shelf isn't so good as what's utilized in salons as a results of fact it is composed of aspects of unfavorable high quality, and subsequently would not artwork besides (if in any respect) and might injury your hair greater advantageous than expert-grade product. it is going to value greater on the salon, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it particularly is nicely truthfully worth the cost and could look lots greater perfect than an at-domicile product.

LEAVE IT ALONE!

The sun will affect your color. It's annoying but you need to leave your hair alone. If you're not willing to cut it then trim it and let your hair grow out on its own. Blond color has bleach and peroxide in it. You will eventually ruin your folicles and have cotton hair like Pamela Anderson.

If you want a balanced hair color you need to go to a hair stylist. If you try to redye your hair too soon it may damage it and then you will have a real mess on your hands. Let a professional handle it.

You might want to go to a salon and have them use a filler.
