God is a word that in English means a divine entity. Certainly you are not going to say there were no Greek or Roman gods, sure there were - and plenty of them.
Today there are lots of gods to choose from. The fact that they are all interpretations of the Unknowable, the Universay Energy - commonly called God - is just as it should be. Around this wide world the only thing truly constant is that we are there and that we are curious. As much as everyone wants to say their faith is the one true faith - we all know deep down in our hearts that there is only one way to be truly sure (and by then it just doesn't matter).
So let's agree that God is the creative force that made and drives the universe, for argument's sake - and that he is known by many different names. Let's also say that His story has in fact been sent to this earth - though long before it was possible for all the people on the planet to even know there were others. It is natural that each geographical group would have their own interpretation, right?
I believe the universal energy to be so totally nothing but love that only those who are determined to go to hell actually do. I think the death myths are there to help us get back to source when it's over and I think hell, is our own personal hell of guilt, resentment, hatred - and I think it simply clouds the way home with a feeling of not deserving.
So I think everyone goes to heaven unless they choose otherwise. I hope I have made some sense! What do you think?
Peace!

It doesn`t matter what you call Him there is only one God and every religion has its own name for Him as well as a personal version of Heaven and Hell. If you take it to an even smaller level, every person has an idea of how God is like (I`m not talking about the "basics" ), idea that is probably different from the one another person has. Everyone has more or less their own religion, with their own commandments. Only the basic facts remain unchanged..God is good, the devil is bad, Heaven= place you wanna go to, Hell= place you try to avoid at all costs. Well here is where the differences appear. If I steal...that`s bad...God will punish me...but if I wreck a family and cause a divorce `cause I couldn`t keep my pants up...well....that`s fate! So every person has their own version of good and bad. There is still a lot of debate in many religions concerning the existence of fate and that of free will. For example...I decide to cross the street because I saw a nice dress in a shop and a car runs me over. Was it my free will to see the dress that got my into this accident or was it all preordained. There is no way of knowing, everyone has a different point of view. In ancient times people used to believe that there were gods for every activity or natural phenomena...Ares, Diana, Loki etc, but even in these religions there was a supreme force that had dominance over all of them, Zamolxis, Zeus, etc. So there is a God like figure that remains all through the spiritual history of humanity. The first monotheistic religion appeared in ancient Egypt in the form of the god Amon(Sun God). But even they had the distinction good/bad. See, it`s not a question of I believe in this God and I`m mistaking and so I`ll go to another person`s version of Hell. I believe in a supreme force that represents good, I respect and obey that power and so if I`m a good person I`ll go to a much better place after I die, no matter if I call it Heaven, Valhalla etc. It`s the basic characteristics you have to look for and the basic distinction between good and evil.
Hope this helps.

There are many beliefs in this world. That is why God gave us the freedom to choose what faith we want. He said, "Before He comes again every ear will have heard His name." So in answer to you question. No just because some people have never heard about Him, they are not automatically going to hell. They will eventually hear God's holy word.

Don't think of one person's god as being separate from your god. The absolute best analogy I've heard is that god or whatever superior force you believe in is a gem, and each facet of the gem is a religion. You can't see or understand the point of view from another's facet, but you can understand that you're all part of the same thing. You're just different in how you view the superior force. In short...one person's god isn't separate from another's, it's the same god being viewed differently.

When i was young, my neighbour who was Christian, said that I will go to hell, and they go to heaven next time. And at that time, i believed in it and told my mum who just smiled. (We are free thinker).
Anyway, I dislike people saying their religion is the best, the others are not. To me, all religions teaches good, unless you are extremist and practise it otherwise.

First off
I die to die!
And i live to live!
I dont die to live "FOREVER".
what happens in heaven when you say to yourself i dont want to live here anymore, its human nature.
Even if things are perfect in heaven, we will get bored over time,
After tasting all there is to taste, what will i taste, after i do all there is to do what will i do?
The fact is we make up heaven so we dont look at death and be scared, yet we should look at eternal life and be terrifed!
iamgen living for millions of years, are minds or souls could not do it!
I dare you to listen to the radio all day with out getting bored, i dare you to try and live forever!
In my heaven there is death!
In your heaven there is life!
Now lets say i have the choice between hell and heaven.
If i dont worship god i go to hell, therefore worship god or go to hell!
Is that not brainwashing!
what mother does not shout at her child clean the floor or you are grounded, well if we dont worship god we get ground forever, so i am going to do what my mother says and clean that floor i dont want to be grounded! O god know cuz i am afraid of death i listen to mY MOTHER!

You're attempting to apply reason and logic to religious dogma, and it won't work.
Religion is simply man's invention, and it has nothing to do with reality or logic.
